Stanley Park Ecology Society (SPES)'s mission is to encourage stewardship of the natural world through environmental education and action; in order to foster awareness of the fragile balance between urban populations and nature, we use a hands-on approach with our programs. Our School Programs facilitate exploration and appreciation of nature for students in Kindergarten to Grade 7. These programs aim to help students come to an understanding of why and how to take care of their planet.
The current School Programs brochure is available here in pdf format:

All programs are matched with grade-appropriate Integrated Resource Packages. Our teacher's packages outline the targeted IRPs covered during the program and provide post-trip activities; these activities are designed to enhance the student's understanding of the concepts and environments that are explored during their program.
