Become a Steward
What is a Steward?
Being a steward means taking care of something, in this case the environment. First we have to learn about the environment, secondly we may need to change our behaviour or do certain things in order to care for it, and thirdly we tell others about what we've learned and how they can help too.
We think that a STEWARD is someone who:
S - sustainably uses resources
T - trains others to become stewards too
E - educates themselves about environmental issues
W - works to repair damage to the natural environment
A - acts to save the environment and change policies
R - reflects on their behaviour and personal impact
D - decides to get involved!
Becoming a steward can involve many different steps...
